What do you do when your hay fever is just too bad and the drugs aren't working?

I have been a severe hay fever sufferer since the age of 15, I am now forty. I had tried absolutely everything, nasal steroids, tablets, herbal remedies, injections, even (Vaseline in my nasal passages!) and until recently I found nothing would really work.

Hay fever was one actually of the primary reasons why I left my home town to move to Sydney in Australia which up until recently was much better for me. I have unfortunately experienced severe hay fever on three other continents and expected to look towards a life shaped by this illness.

Chronic hay fever, over a sustained period of time, and all of the various treatments had left me feeling unwell. They affected my immune system and gave me chronic sinusitis. Once a really keen runner, I have not been able to exercise for over three years.

It is hard to underestimate the negative effect that hay fever can have on the quality of life of people who experience severe symptoms. The problem with hay fever is that it sneaks up on you. It starts with minor symptoms which gradually become severe, leave all of your thinking and coping mechanisms themselves compromised. This leaves sufferers symptoms disoriented at a time when they most need their wits to deal with the various management choices before them.

Then there are the secondary effects; fatigue, asthma, sinus infections. Sinus infections are a major cause of fatigue themselves. My own infection left me for large tracts of time with an inability to really properly focus or concentrate. Perhaps because of it's unpredictability, hay fever is also often dismissed or not taken seriously by non-sufferers or even sufferers.

About a month ago, I had been planning to deal with the pretty severe season in Sydney with extremely high doses of antihistamine. This had actually worked pretty well in the previous season in Sydney. For some reason it was not working at all. I rotated my tablets, doubled and tripled the doses after a single does did not succeed. All to no effect. I couldn't walk our friend's dog without returning and being completely knocked over with mucus, body fatigue and itchy eyes. This was beginning to give me asthma and my sinusitis, which had over time painstakingly and expensively been brought under control.

I was literally wondering what moves I had left, other than leaving Sydney and moving north.

What do you do when your hay fever is just too bad and the drugs aren't working?

The reason for this blog is I have discovered recently one product which completely eradicated my symptoms. I came to think how many other people like me had had their lives severely affected. I thought to myself, if this product can have helped to this degree then maybe there are thousands even millions who would benefit from it as well.

I wanted to reach out and let people know what genuine options there are out there for the serious sufferer. I also wanted to test and try out other products that may not be recommended as widely by GP's but which actually work.

My life has literally changed by using this product. I want to learn more...
